The goal was to design a booklet explaining the process of working with printers; from meeting your client to handing the final product.
Inspired by the Pantone design, I came up with the idea of having a large colour on my cover with big Type for my title. I had to find a way to divide my sections making it interesting to navigate through. As for the binding, I chose wire-O binding since it is easy for the reader to switch pages while reading vertically.
I came up with the idea of having three layers with the CMYK colours to divide each section. For the inside pages, I made it simple and visually interesting. I decided to have only the forms for each section placed at the bottom of the inside pages to guide the reader. The forms were based on semiotics; a circle for teamwork, a square for proofing and a triangle for the press check. Each relates to the meaning behind the section.
